Child and Bestiality Porn Ring Busted in Australia - Feb. 22, 2016

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - In a covert operation that began last year, at least four men and one woman have been arrested for their involvement in a child exploitation ring operating out of Sydney, Australia.  The Child Exploitation Unit of the New South Wales Sex Crimes Squad was acting on a tip from the Queensland Police.  Det. Superintendent Linda Howlett, commander of the squad, congratulated the team, and issued this warning, "if you're out there wanting to have sex with a child it's only a matter of time before we come knocking on your door."

Members of the group were exchanging child and bestiality pornography, and corresponding with each other about illegal sexual activities involving animals and children.  At least one member of the group planned a meeting with the intention of having sex with an infant who was the granddaughter of one of the group’s members.

It is believed the group access to more than 10 potential child victims, ranging in age from infant to early teens, who were within their own family and friendship networks. The sex crimes squad were able to bust the ring before any of those children were abused.

Four members of the group were arrested in October and Novermber last year; the fifth, a 49 year-old man was arrested at his workplace on February 19, and charged with two counts of distributing child pornography.

A 61 man was charged with production, dissemination, or possession of child abuse material; and using the Internet to promote child exploitation. A 50 year-old man was charged with inciting intercourse with a child under 10, procuring a child under 14 for unlawful sexual activity, and using the Internet to promote child exploitation.  A 47 year-old man was charged with inciting sexual intercourse with a child under 10, using a child under 14 to produce child porn, and using the Internet to promote and distribute child exploitation, and the lone woman, 47  was charged with bestiality, and conspiracy to commit sexual intercourse with a child under 10.

Woman indicted for sodomizing a child and having sex with a dog - Feb. 17, 2016

Angeline Lodice has been dancing since she was two and used to compete in dance team competitions.  But by age 26, she was dancing at a strip club on Bourbon Street.  Her specialty is “exotic dancing” – not quite the same as hip hop or jazz or  lyrical, but dancing just the same.

And Angeline was doing ok until October 2014 when she got arrested after videos and photos surfaced of her giving having sex with a dog and giving oral to a three-year-old boy.  She was finally indicted on February 12, 2016 on charges of aggravated rape, sexual battery, and production of child pornography.  No charge of bestiality was filed.  And while we'd prefer to at least have that on the record, it's understandable why the prosecutor made that decision.

Louisiana takes a hard line on child pornography and child rape.  Under the bestiality prohibition, the most she could get would be up to five years in prison with or without hard labor.  The pornography charge alone carries 25 to 50 years at hard labor.  Sexual battery could get her a minimum of 25 years at hard labor before parole can even be considered.

Lodice claims she was drugged during the incident(s) and her attorney Martin Regan says his client will plead not guilty by reason of insanity and will undergo psychiatric evaluations to determine her ability to stand trial for her actions.  Deciding whether she is insane is no easy task.  In Louisiana, the burden of proof is on the defendant, and while she may meet the medical definition, she may or may not meet the legal definition, which is basically that she didn't know what she was doing at the time.

If Lodice is found legally insane, she could spend the rest of her life in a mental institution.

Maybe they'll have dance therapy there.

Mother left sex offender son alone with daycare children - Updated Apr. 29, 2016

BRUNK - Robert and Katie  - Richmond NH (no bestiality law)

Man photographed children aged 5 to 7 in sexually explicit conduct. His  mother was also charged for leaving the children alone with her son, despite knowing he was sexually interested in children.

Robert A. Brunk, 24 was arrested in Richmond NH in November, 2014 on charges of photographing three children, aged 5 to 7, in sexually explicit conduct.  The images did not depict the children having sexual contact with each other or with Brunk, but were filmed at the home Brunk shares with his mother, Anna "Katie" Brunk, 49.

Katie Brunk is a teacher, most recently employed by a preschool in Winchester County NH, and often provided day care for children at her home.  She was charged with four misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child for leaving children alone with Robert, even though she knew he had a sexual interest in children.

Cheshire County Attorney John Gasaway, Jr. (prosecuting) alleges that in addition to manufacturing child pornography, Robert Bunk collected thousands of images including bestiality and forcible rape of children.

Robert Brunk has cerebral palsy and has been in custody for five months.  Judge John C. Kissinger Jr. recently denied Brock's request for reduced bail (currently set at $50,000), and release from jail with supervised monitoring at home.  The judge did grant defense's request for outside physical therapy and mental health counseling for Brunk while he's in jail pending his trial slated for June, 2015.
